ACS Reunion

Dear Fellow ACSians,

It has been 10 years since we have graduated from ACS Barker in 1998. During the past 10 years, we have gone on our own ways. Some have still managed to stay in close contact with their classmates, while others have formed small cliques with peers from other classes. Regardless of who we are hanging out with, I believe everyone one of you is just as keenly interested as I am to know what the rest of the batch is up to at this stage of our lives! And I am sure all of you will still chuckle at some of the antics we used to partake in when reminiscence on our good old school days in the old campus of ACS (Barker Road).

I dug up from my drawer a draft I had written for a speech delivered during our graduating year and I will like to share a couple of paragraphs that I felt were meaningful to me.

“ACS means a new chapter in my life. It is more than a building to me; it is a second home. An institution that prepares all of us for the future ahead. It helps us to meet the high demands of a fast changing society and to serve others better eventually.

The famed ACS Spirit that exists in all of us is a type of manifested loyalty that no other student from other schools will ever experience nor comprehend. This spirit is evident during sports events like the National Badminton Finals where we cheered our hearts out for the players. This spirit can only be found in this family and I am proud to be part of it.”

Ten years ago, I had delivered this speech in the chapel and ten years on, I am still living on this ACS Spirit, so much so that it drives me to spearhead this reunion.

This is an open invitation to all teachers and students of batch 98, to attend a night of joyous celebration and recollection of the many fond memories we had. Come and join us for a night you will not soon forget! Do contact your designated class agents for more details on the event and ticketing matters.

See you very soon my friend!

Cheers,

The Ties That Bind

It is important for each of us to maintain a strong bond to our alma mater, be aware of its traditions and to be kept abreast of its latest developments. This is one sure way of keeping our school spirit alive and burning bright, for the past, present and future batches of ACSians.

As we look forward to the future, let us pause once awhile to acknowledge our past. It will be through these reflections that we reconnect with our past, so that a sense of home and belonging can be accorded to a place where we spent our fond formative years shaping into who we are today.

The Best Is Yet To Be!

Welcome Everyone!
